Remember this? Operation Decorate. Somewhere along the way it went on hiatus, but today while Lily napped I pulled out my sewing machine and my fabric stash and whipped these pillow covers together. I made both with an envelope back so they can be removed and thrown the wash. They make a vibrant addition to our living room, no?
I think so. Now onto finishing the coffee table we picked up from the flea market.

great work. they make me happy :)
Beautiful! Is that Anna Maria Horner fabric?
Thanks, Bethany. They make me happy too.
Christine, it's not Anna Maria Horner -- just regular old fabric from JoAnn's (except the yellow, which was a pillow case I picked up at Goodwill).
very nice!
DId you see the memo board I made? ( I uploaded 1 pic to FB so far- will take a few better ones with my real camera hopefully today) anyway, it's the same Amy Butler fabric!! so obviously, I like it too- lol..
I have a few pillows I want to recover bc my darling little one got her hands on a PERMANENT marker- and colored on my SILK pillow.....sigh.......
Thanks, Sophie. I just double checked to see if the fabric is Amy Butler, and it's not that either. It's Alexander Henry. Must be a knock off.
And I didn't see the boards you made, but I'll take a look. I'm sure they're fab!
our minds think alike. i'm about to do some pillow covering myself. i've become a fan of the envelope back, too. though wouldn't you know that the pillows that get dirty around are never the ones with the envelope back but the ones that i sewed shut.
love your pillows. and are you still loving your new furniture??
Kate, I do love the furniture, especially the couch. I'm glad we waited until we could afford something we really love (and that everyone else doesn't have in their living rooms -- ahem, Rooms to Go). :)
