Turning One

My baby daughter turned one yesterday. One! Already! We had a party out on the front lawn, drank beer, caught up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. It was fun. But, phew, I came down hard off that party adrenalin today. I'm beat.

By the way, I didn't get a Polaroid camera (see above). Our friend let me play with the Hipstamatic app on his iPhone, and then he found an equally cool app on my Droid called FXCamera. I can't stop playing with it. Of all things, what brought me the most joy yesterday was running around snapping ordinary camera phone photos with those programs. Everything looks cooler.
